From your
mobile phone dial 269,
When using your Personal and Executive Voicemail for the first time From your
mobile phone dial 269, press SEND and enter your temporary
passcode 1234 when prompted. Then, simply follow the tutorial to
set up your greeting, name and passcode. Picking up your Voicemail messages The Message Waiting Indicator will show an envelope (or similar symbol) in your phone's display when you have messages. When you see the symbol, simply dial 269, then press SEND and enter your passcode when prompted. Simply follow
the Voicemail prompts and your messages will play automatically. You can easily check your messages from any mobile phone or touch-tone phone, even when you are overseas From any
fixed line in the Cayman Islands, just dial 269, or from overseas,
call (345) 949 8279. Enter your mobile phone number and press *
immediately when you hear the greeting. Enter your passcode when prompted. You can switch your Voicemail on and off as you wish To turn on Voicemail, dial *51 and to turn off, dial *52 Note: The send button may be represented by a 'talk' button, 'yes' button or green phone symbol depending on make of handset. |
Delete old messages regularly from your mailbox. If messages are not deleted, callers will be unable to leave new messages for you. Callers can skip your greeting by pressing # during the greeting and go directly to recording their message after the tone. People who often call you will find this useful since they won't have to hear your message every time they call. After making any recording you can press # to let the system know that you've finished recording. If you know the digits to press for the options you want, cut the prompt short by pressing the appropriate digit during the playing of the prompt.
